Q&A

How does Baizdon work? We have a wide skills base and draw upon our brilliant band of researchers, photographers, illustrators and writers to deliver the best fit for each project.

And what do your projects have in common? They all aim to convey a special aspect of the building or place via high quality products. Our publications and guides are also designed to amplify brands and generate income.

Tee's favourite publication so far? It has to be our first book, "360˚at the Gherkin". I thought it was a great idea to identify 100 buildings from the top, until it dawned on me that we had taken on the whole of London! Meeting the challenge was a brilliant way to learn about the capital.

Johnny's favourite publication? I'm proud our clothbound guide for The Monument and even prouder of Tee (who suffers from vertigo) for climbing outside the flaming ball at the top of the London icon.

Ben's favourite publication so far? The Tower Bridge Cat & The Missing Button, as it was my first big project at the company. It was made during such a difficult time; the pandemic, the loss of Johnny; so I’m incredibly proud that we managed to maintain Baizdon’s high standards through that hardship.

JOHNNY MORRIS, was our first Creative Director. He designed for all of the UK's quality broadsheets, was the founding Art Director for the Telegraph's luxury magazine Ultratravel and was a popular travel writer. Johnny sadly passed away in 2020.

BEN MORRIS, our new Creative Director, took up the mantle from his father Johnny after his passing. Previously a video editor with his work totalling more than a million views on YouTube, Ben’s involvement with Baizdon has focused on The Tower Bridge Cat series.
