The Worshipful Company of Gold and Silver Wyre Drawers

The Worshipful Company of Gold and Silver Wyre Drawers asked Baizdon to design and produce the catalogue for their prestigious exhibition to celebrate their 400th anniversary which is being held at The Guildhall Art Gallery..

Our advice was to aim for a book that celebrated the wonderful artefacts the committee had collected together, rather than a straightforward catalogue - to give their book life after the exhibition. 

Baizdon enjoyed worked closely with the 400 Committee, a dedicated group including the current Master, a past Master and his extremely knowledgeable partner along with the exhibition’s curator on the project. It was a wonderful book to work on and the exhibition itself is fabulous - it has been extended to December 31st and is well worth a visit!
